As the southernmost state in Mexico, Chiapas is known for its people and the quality of its coffee. Ts’umbal Café represents more than just coffee: we serve as a bridge to bring dignity, progress and empowerment to our indigenous partners who are at the heart of our coffee production.  We view coffee not only as a valued commodity, but also as a legacy passed on from generation to generation. Despite the unmatched quality of our coffee, producers in Chiapas face real challenges created by those who have held monopoly control of the market, resulting in unfair pricing. This unfair environment inspired us to found Ts’umbal Café, to return power and dignity to small indigenous coffee producers who are vested in producing the best specialty coffee in the industry. Ts’umbal is more than a venture. It’s a movement focused on empowering indigenous coffee communities in Chiapas. We partner with indigenous communities to provide business training, access to best farming practices, and tools to continue to improve the quality of our coffee. Our goal is to have a positive social impact through educational programs and to protect and promote the following: 1. Best farming and business practices among our indigenous communities. 2. Fair coffee trade. Best pricing for the best coffee! 3. Best quality coffee… “one cup at a time”   Thank you for becoming part of our goal and impact!
